GAZI UNIVERSITY INFORMATION PACKAGE - 2019 ACADEMIC YEAR

Profile of the Programme
Our medical education is arranged on the basis of coordination between horizontal and vertical integration of lecture titles and hours. This coordination is applied by Course Boards (Teaching Committees) in the years I, II and III during the whole academic year, which is considered as one course. In the years IV, V and VI, education in each clinical speciality (clerkship/internship) is a course grade. VIth class, a -12-month period, covers the period of Internship. During this period, the success of students in the departments is based on more clinical, outpatient, laboratory and field studies and medical interventions done in person, and patient follow-up, comunication skills as well as contributions to attended seminars and meetings. The director of the relevant unit evaluated interns competency with a certificate and the result is converted to a grade.
