- Has the knowledge, skills and comprehension to fully understand the theories and philosophies which form the basis for the production of unique praxis, depending on the competences acquired at the undergraduate level in the field of urban planning, and to implement these in planning and design processes.
- Has the critical awareness about issues on nature, resource, production and examination of knowledge within the interfaces between planning and other areas related to it and ability to evaluate with a dialectical (able to produce critical, antithesis and synthesis) approach.
- Has the specialized problem-solving skills necessary to develop new knowledge and methods related to the research field and integrate knowledge from different fields.
- Has the foreign language level, to follow the international developments in this field and to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Has the capacity to follow the developments in IT (information, geographic information and communication) technologies in the field and use them interactively in various stages of planning and design.
