To associate different design practices with the concepts of traditional and industrial production
To grasp the interdisciplinary interaction in design.
To associate the design knowledge with other means of information in order to create and use the outcomes in interdisciplinary studies.
To improve and control the steps of data collection, interpretation, application and announcement in design with respect to social, scientific, cultur
To associate the modern design and craft practices within the context of interdisciplinary interaction.
To evaluate tradional crafts within modern design practice
To exemine the differences between traditional and modern modes of production
To position art both within traditional crafts and modern design culture
To discuss the place of tradition in modern production practice
To know the contribution of craft to diverse modernist practices
