Defines radiation dose units.
Explain radiation dose limits (maximum daily, annual, etc. dose).
Take to required precautions for radiation protection of patient, dentist and technical stuff.
Take to required precautions for dose reduction without the loss of image quality.
Interprets the legislation about radiation protection in dentistry.
Licenses radiographic devices used in dentistry.
Provides in-service training for the personnel working in dental radiology.
