Profile of the Programme
The main idea of the department is to offer Undergraduate and Graduate programs in education the individuals to have an effective efficient working discipline which will contribute to the development of the society with new and original studies by making them attain technical knowledge and skills in the fields hygiene at the mass nutrition systems, quality (HACCP) preparation of food in experimental practices, cooking and preserving principals, mother and child nutrition, nutrition at diseases, Turkish cuisine, home planning and decoration, consumer education, dry cleaning and care services at home, upholstery and scientific subjects. In the program paralel with technological developments, are such studies as the needs of accomodation, nutrition, clothing etc., of family and society and standardization of samples selected from traditional Turkish cuisine, improving standard recipes and offering solutions to the problems.
