Although predominantly Turkish-Islamic Art Arts and Contemporary Art in Europe-related courses are also provided. 

The department consists of faculty members who specialized in these areas. In our department, 4 professors, 2 associate professors, 4 assistant professors, 2 lecturers, and there are 4 research assistants. 

The goal of a successful history of art education as a priority, not only in Turkey, the relationship and interaction of cultures in the environment to teach, to train qualified experts in art history.
