At the end of this course, students will gain the following features; Knows the basic concepts of fiber optics.
Knows nonlinear effects on fiber optic cables.
Dispersion and knows the types.
Knows fiber optic connections and attachments.
Knows fiber optic passive, active materials and measuring instruments.
Knows the principles of fiber optic communication system design.
