1. Week  Material handling systems and their classification.
2. Week  Wire ropes and chains.
3. Week  Sheaves of wire rope and chain and hoisting block and tackle.
4. Week  Hooks, hook bearings and traverses.
5. Week  Drums of wire rope and chain.
6. Week  Calculation of load hoisting systems ( Design Project )
7. Week  Brakes and brake releasing devices.Brakes and calculation of braking torque
8. Week  Midterm I
9. Week  Lock gears, wheels and rails.
10. Week  Moving systems on rail and power calculation.
11. Week  Design of cranes.
12. Week  Design of belt conveyors.
13. Week  Midterm 2
14. Week  Screw conveyors, vibrating conveyors and chain conveyors
