Profile of the Programme
To explain that the aims and objectives of the department of biology are to ensure that students are aware of life''s love and everything in life, that they understand and appreciate the whole and wonderful complexity of the living world, and that they understand the historical development of science, especially of biology, that scientific knowledge is derived from evidence and is constantly subject to change , to develop the ability to critically read biological literature, to gain the ability to communicate effectively in biological matters, to gain the skills and experience of using modern scientific devices, to provide information about work safety and ethical issues in biology, critical environmental and social issues affecting human health, population growth, biodiversity and resource conservation to gain the ability to understand and evaluate the issues, and to gain analytical thinking ability in the face of problems by observing carefully.
