Have knowledge about reaction mechanisms of coenzymes in metabolic pathways.
Learns the symptoms of vitamin deficiency.

1. Week  vitamin A metabolism, metabolic functions and insufficiency
2. Week  Vitamin D metabolism, metabolic functions, intestinal calcium and phosphate absorption
3. Week  Biosynthesis of vitamin E, metabolism, metabolic functions, selenium interaction
4. Week  Vitamin K metabolism, metabolic functions, vitamin K dependent proteins, deficiency
5. Week  Metabolic functions of thiamine diphosphate, oxidative decarboxylation, transketolase, thiaminase, insufficiency
6. Week  Metabolic functions of flavin coenzymes, deficiencies, requirements and pharmacological use
7. Week  Nicotinamide nucleotide coenzymes, the role of NAD in ADP-ribosylation, the synthesis of tryptophan
8. Week  Absorption and metabolism of vitamin B6, transamination reactions, glycogen phosphorylase, insufficiency
9. Week  Folate biosynthesis and metabolism, tetrahydrobiopterin, insufficiency
10. Week  Biosynthesis and metabolism of vitamin B12, megaloblastic anemia
