1 | - Explain the concepts, symbols, formulas, theories, models, principles and generalizations in biology and analyse the biological incidents in the light of generalizations and mechanism and correlate the biological concepts. |
2 | - Have knowledge about history and nature of science. |
3 | - Make a teaching scheme in accordance with the standards of biology education program and the achievements in this respect and apply this scheme. |
4 | - Know and apply the most suitable teaching strategy, method and technique during education period by taking into account the readiness level of students, characteristics of subject matter and the achievements. |
5 | - Provide a suitable learning and teaching environment by taking into consideration the personal differences and characteristics of development and learning. |
6 | - Do research and use national and international resources in order to reach knowledge about biology and biology education and respect scientific and ethical values. |
7 | - Have content and professional teaching knowledge and skills to instruct the courses related to his/her field of study successfully. |
8 | - Know and use the biological laboratory techniques, tools and equipment and apply the biological laboratory methods and techniques such as preparing biological paint, solution-slide, anatomic- morphological examination, tissue culture. |
9 | - Pay attention to versatile nature of learning and assess the process as much as product and use the traditional and alternative assessment and evaluation techniques effectively. |
10 | - Design materials regarding his/her field of study and use them in the relevant learning and teaching situations. |
