1. Week  Basic concepts, explanations related to course contents and preliminary information.
2. Week  World History of Ice Age, Mesolithic and Neolithic Age;
3. Week  Egyptian Civilization; History of ancient Egypt; Egyptian architecture;
4. Week  Egyptian sculpture; Last period of Egyptian art.
5. Week  Mesopotamian Civilization; History of Ancient Sumerians, Architecture and sculpture in the Cemdet-Nasr period; Mesilim period;
6. Week  Akkadian Period in Mesopotamia; Latest Sumerian art; Hammurabi period, History and art of Assyrian and Babylonian periods;
7. Week  Greek civilization; Minoan and Mycenaean art.
8. Week  MIDTERM
9. Week  Geometric art, archaic sculpture art, “Doric and ionic” style, Parthenon, Greek theater.
10. Week  Ancient cultures in İtaly and Etruscan art, Roman civilization, Roman sculpture and art of painting.
11. Week  History of Roman Civilization,Roman Sculpture and Painting Art.
12. Week  Hellenistic Art.
13. Week  History of İslam Art,Umayyad Mosques and Palaces;Architecture of Umayyads in Andalusia,architecture of Fatimids.
