Use a charge model to explain basic electric phenomena and use a field model to explain in the long-range interaction between charges.
Use Coulomb’s law to calculate the electric force between charges.
Calculate the electric field due to single and multiple point charges.
Calculate and use electric potential and electric potential energy.
Calculate the electric flux through a surface and apply The Gauss’s Law.
Understand how and why charge moves through a conductor as what we call a current.
Understand and use capacitors and dielectrics.
Understand the fundamental physical principles that govern electric circuit.
