Knows what is radiation, electromagnetic radiation, radioactivity, ionization and radiological nomenclature.
Knows basics of radiation physics, radiobiology, radiation safety and protection and diagnostic radiology.
Knows principals and techniques of intraoral radiographic examination and takes intraoral radiographs.
Knows intraoral radiographic anatomy and interprets intraoral radiographs.
Knows the importance of patient history, takes medical and dental anamnesis and interprets obtained data.
Knows the importance of systemic diseases in dentistry and oral signs of systemic diseases.
Asks for consultation and refers for a further diagnosis when necessary.
Knows to do intraoral and extraoral examination.
Knows basic clinical, radiological and laboratory examinations necessary for differantional diagnosis.
Interprets the gathered data for treatment planning.
