Explain skeletal muscle structure and contraction mechanism.
List the contraction types of skeletal muscle and compare with each other
Describe what a motor unit is and how skeletal muscles can create graded contractions of varying force and duration
Explains the physical basis of electromyography, discusses its use as a research method
Compare structural, energetic & regulatory aspects of skeletal muscle types
Contrast structural, energetic & regulatory aspects of 3 muscle types (skeletal, heart, smooth)
Explain smooth muscle structure and contraction mechanism.
Explain heart muscle structure and contraction mechanism.
Uses different methods to evaluate muscle functions and evaluates the collected data appropriately
Critically compare the data collected from laboratory studies with current information and present their findings
