To learn Turkish way of living in pre-islamic times and how this reflects to art and architecture
To understand Turkish arch. out of Anatolia in pre and after Islamic times, by analyzing it in geographical, cultural,traditional and religious contex
To know Turkish architecture by examples starting from Huns,Gokturks,Uigurs,Karakhanid,Gaznevid,Great Seldjukid,Ilkhanid,Timurid and Safavi periods
To learn, in which aspects the Turkish arch. in Central Asia had developed sources to the Turkish arch. in Anatolia, starting from the 11th century
To gain know-how of comparative analysis of Turkish architecture between pre and after Islamic periods in Central Asia, Anatolia and in the Near East
To concieve the differenciating parts of Turkish architecture from other Islamic architecture examples, together with the arguments
To gain a new and analytical perspective concerning the developing process, the origins and the interaction problems of the Turkish architecture

2. Week  To introduce Proto-Turkish people and the culture, settlements and architecture of the Huns, as the first Turkish state in history

4. Week  To introduce the culture, settlements and architecture of the Gokturks
5. Week  To introduce the culture, settlements and architecture of the Uigurs
6. Week  To introduce the culture, settlements and architecture of the Uigurs
7. Week  To introduce the culture,settlements and arch.of the Karakhanid and the Gaznevid,also to compare them with the Early Islamic (Umayyad)arch.
