To equip learners with a general knowledge of learning strategies in the field of ELT and provide an overview of different approaches in the field
To enhance learners' specific knowledge of learning strategies as regards the four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking
To relate the specific knowledge of skills to brain-based learning, emotional intelligence and motivation
To do an action research project with the aim of transferring theoretical knowledge on learning strategies into practice
To discuss the methodology and results of the project with their peers
To enable learners to design their own models of learner autonomy
