In order tograduate from the Medical Pharmacology PhD program, students must fulfill therequirement of at least 8 semester of education, research and practiceactivities, and must successfully complete the program courses (including the mandatorycourses) to obtain 120 ECTS credits, and should complete the thesis study toobtain another 120 ECTS credits. The student should complete 90 ECTS creditsfrom compulsory and elective courses, and the remaining 30 ECTS credits shouldbe obtained from the preparation for qualification process.

 A student, whohas completed the program courses in accordance with the provisions of the GaziUniversity Graduate Education and Examination Regulations, and achieved atleast 3.00 general academic average score, should succeed in qualification exam.Qualified students must successfully complete their thesis study and thesisdefense under the supervision of their advisors.  In order to establish a thesis defense jury;the student must provide the documentation of the proof of an at least one scientificarticle accepted/published in a national or international peer-reviewed journal,or, achievement of a patent or establishment of a utility model, prepared withhis/her advisor related to the subject of the thesis. The proof document,approved by the advisor, should be presented to the institute through thegovernance of the Department Head.
