In 2013, the Department of Photography & Video of theGazi Faculty of Fine Arts opened the Graduade Programme of New Media where a Professor, two associate professors, four Assistant Professors, oneLecturer and one Teaching Assistant serves. The purpose ofthe graduate program,nearly 5 students are accepted each semester, is to educate students on newmedia, video art and digital cinema both in theory and practice. Before you canbegin the eight-semestermaster''s program you have to complete successfully theentrance examination. As New Media is the future of visual and plastic arts oruprogram aims to teach new media, video art and digital cinema both in theoryand practice. Program is in close retation with fields such as communicationsicences, cultural studies, sociology and philosophy.
