- acquiring competence in the advanced sociological imagination and analyzing social reality
- having the ability to comprehend social issues accurately, to discern their underlining multifactorial causes, to analyze and to propose sociological answers
- having competence in the ability to analyze profoundly the socio-political conditions of 19th century and the double revolution period in which sociology emerged as a scientific discipline
- being closely acquainted with the prominent figures of the Classical Sociology with their works and the major sociological thoughts
- having the advanced competence in the analyzing the leading theorists of the 20th century and their influence in social theory in the progress of the sociology
- acquiring the critical thinking without being exposed to the contemporary sociological conceptualizing (ex. globalization, multiculturalism, identity, postmodernism) and the one-sided impacts of centers where these concepts are produced.
