Profile of the Programme
Private Law PhD Program consists of courses with at least 24 local credits, a seminar course, written and oral comprehensive exams, and defense of the PhD thesis. During the courses, students are expected to prepare and present papers and effectively discuss the legal issues about the fields of private law. The doctoral proficiency exam aims to measure the proficiency of the student in writing a PhD thesis and doing further academic studies. While writing the thesis, the student is expected to do detailed researches, put his findings into the paper and defend his/her thesis before the jury.
