Students can describe and define general rules on medicinal plant identification.
Students know medicinal plant collection and preparation of herbarium samples.
Students know floristic richness and phytogeographic region of Turkey and their medicinal plants.
Students know Flora of Turkey and its endemic medicinal plants.
Students can describe and define botanical nomenclature rules.

14Conducts Pharmacopoeia analysis of herbal medicines, herbal medicinal products, medicinal plants, drugs and extracts, interprets the results.X
15Provides training in the areas of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy, does consulting and auditing.X
16Has information about legal regulations of herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, dermocosmetics, food supplements and traditional herbal medicinal products in Turkey and world, can share his/her knowledge with relevant people.X
17Reads English publications in the field of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy, compiles these studies and gives presentations within the scope of “Seminar” course.
