Have information about the generalities, classification and biosynthesis of lipids and triglycerids.
Has information about the extraction methods and quality controls for lipid-containing drugs.
Has information about fixed oils-containing drugs used in therapeutics and pharmaceutics.
Makes pharmacognosic studies on lipids and fixed oils-containing plants.

1. Week  Lipids, definition and classification (simple and complex lipids)
2. Week  Triglycerides, structural of tryglycerides (saturated, unsaturated and essential fatty acids)
3. Week  Properties of glycerides and fatty acids
4. Week  Biosynthesis
5. Week  Physico-chemical properties and extraction methods
6. Week  Quality control for lipid-containing drugs, test for fixed oils
7. Week  Gas chromatographic analysis of fatty acids
8. Week  Oils subject to a monograph in the Pharmacopoeia
9. Week  Biological activities and healhth benefits of lipids and lipid's components
