1. Week  Fundamentals concepts: Fe-C phase diagram.
2. Week  Fundamentals concepts: Time-Temperature-Transformation (TTT) diagrams.
3. Week  Formation of Pearlite, Bainete and Martensite Diffusion.
4. Week  Alloying elements in Steel: Austenite, ferrite, carbide forming elements
5. Week  Alloying elements in Steel: Nitride forming elements, effects on eutectoid point, effect on TTT diagrams.
6. Week  Hardenability: Grossmann and Jominy Tests.
7. Week  Hardenability: Practical applications.
8. Week  General Heat Treatments:Annealing.
9. Week  General Heat Treatments:Normalizing, hardening.
10. Week  General Heat Treatments: Tempering, transformation of retained austenite.
11. Week  Special Heat Treatments: Teel steels.
12. Week  Special Heat Treatments: Surface hardening methods.
13. Week  Special Heat Treatments: Surface hardening methods.
14. Week  Dimensional changes during heat treatment.
