Prediction of the oxidation-reduction behavior of a variety of organic compounds on the various electrodes.
Bringing the ability to achieve proposed mechanism by cyclic voltammetry.
Understanding of superiority of polarography-voltammetry techniques for the drug-analysis.

 -- MODE OF DELIVERY
  The mode of delivery of this course is Face to face.
 --WEEKLY SCHEDULE
1. Week  Polarography-voltammetry, microelectrodes, voltammetric currents, cyclic voltammetry.
2. Week  Introduction to the electrochemical reduction and oxidation of organic compounds.
3. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of aromatic rings and heterocyclic compounds
4. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of alcohol, amines ,amides and their derivatives.
5. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of aldehydes, ketones, phenols
6. Week  The electrochemical behaviour of the carbamates and their derivatives used in agriculture. Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of carboxylic acids.
7. Week  MID-TERM EXAM
8. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of sulphur containing organic compounds and their derivatives
9. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of organic compounds containing sulfides such as thioamides, thiols, sulfonamides.
10. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of organic compounds containing sulfides such as sulfoxides and sulphides.
11. Week  Polarographic-voltammetric behavior of organophosphorus and organometallic compounds
