1. Week  Explain basic textile materials and techniques used, Fundamentals of portfolio design in textile design
2. Week  Concepts related to points/dots and lines, and light, dark, light and shade, Examples in art and textile
3. Week  Explain surface designing techniques using stitching, embroidery and sewing. Explain materials and techniques Project1: Embroidery application
4. Week  Project2:Rough hatching applications through stitches
5. Week  Presentation1-Analysis of projects according to the principles of design.
6. Week  Concepts related to Surfaces/Planes/Shapes/Form/Volume/Mass
7. Week  Explain surface designing techniques using basic weaves and fancy yarns. Explain materials used in Project3 and 4
8. Week  Weaving application- Project3: Hand weaving, Straw weaving
