To be able to explain image, symbol, symbol definitions and define places in plastic arts
To be able to explain concepts and terms related to iconography and iconology, science and art fields related to iconography
To be able to understand the causes of mythical values in the history of Eastern and Western art
To be able to recognize the symbols in east and west mythology and their iconographic expansions.
To be able to recognize symbols and iconographic expansions in Turkish mythology and usage areas in plastic arts.
Having knowledge about the place and importance of symbols on societies
To distinguish cosmological symbols, astrological symbols, religious symbols of the symbols of the mutated values.
To be able to analyze the usage patterns of iconography in traditional handicraft design
To be able to make appropriate research by interpreting interdisciplinary relations between sign science and textile design

5. Week  Astrological symbols, iconographic expansions. Uygurs figurative astral depictions
6. Week  Mountain and tree iconography in sky and ground-water framework
7. Week  Iconography of the Kün-ay, moon-star motif (from proto Turk to Hakan)
8. Week  Mid-term exam
9. Week  Religious symbols, iconographic expansions. Origin of the universe (snake) in Turkish iconography
10. Week  Attach dragon (mask) cosmic symbolism and jewelry that protects from evil in Turkish symbolism.
