Recognize regional, technical & aesthetic characteristics of traditional hand-woven fabric,
Identify traditional fabrics in regard to regional, technical & aesthetic features,
Recognize materials used for hand weaving,
Define terms, concepts related to flat weaving.
Apply the technical rules for the preparation of traditional weaving pattern, carpets, rugs, etc.
Improve skills related to Carpana & flat weaving techniques.
Compose new designs based on the traditional hand weaving techniques,
Understand the importance of traditional Turkish arts of weaving.
