State basic concepts of chemistry, the scope of chemistry & stoichiometry, atoms & the atomic theories,
Define periodic table & atomic properties, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, gases, liquids, solids, solutions & their physical properties,
Recognize chemical structure & properties of cellulosic fibers,
Recognize chemical structure & properties of protein fibers,
Explain polimers & their general properties, polimerization reactions,
Define chemical properties of PTFE, Polyamides, Polyesters Polyacrilonitrile & their applications,
Define color, light, electromagnetic waves, light spectrum, absorbsion lines, color combinations, color theories,
Explain basic principles of dyeing, characteristics & dyeing principles of certain dyes,
Choose appropriate dyes according to the fiber,
Explain methods used in fiber analysis,
