Develop cognitive, perceptive and psychomotor attitudes concerning dyeing methods and applications,
Develop cognitive, perceptive and psychomotor attitudes concerning printing methods and applications,
Recognize the importance of textile colorization,
Identify various types of dyeing machines & the technologies employed,
Choose appropriate dyeing & printing techniques according to the fiber & fabric,

1. Week   Historical evolution of dyeing machines, properties & classification,
2. Week   Classification of dyeing methods,
3. Week   Classification & general properties of dyeing machines,
4. Week  Loose fiber, hank dyeing machines,
5. Week  Yarn dyeing machines,
6. Week  Types of fabric dyeing machines: HT, Jigger, Air-jet, pad-bach,thermasol,
7. Week  Mid-term Exam
8. Week  Steaming, fixing & calendering processes & machines,
9. Week  Matching Dye stuff with dyeing methods: Dyeing wool&PA-Acidic,cromium & Metal complex dyes; cellulose-reactive & direct dyes, PES-disperse dyes,
10. Week  Dyeing defects,
11. Week   Historical evalution & types of printing machines,
12. Week   Industrial printing machines such as Roll, Rotation, Film-druck, etc
13. Week   Computer aided technologies in printing textiles such as Transfer & Digital printing machines, & their properties,
14. Week   Printing defects,
15. Week   Special effects; resist, devore, golden, batique, glitter, flock,emboss, beads, Stones printing etc.
