Define basic concept of molecular, micro-,macro-structures of fibers & analyze their effects,
Describe the basic parameters for properties of fibers, including mechanical, moisture absorption, thermal, electrical,optical,chemical properties,
Describe how to measure fiber parameters & analyze factors that influence them,
Describe the relationship between these properties & processing techniques,
Classify textile fibers,Define the structure & the properties of major textile fibers
Define polymers & explain molecular structure of textile fibers,man-made fiber production methods,
Define physical, chemical & mechanical properties of regenerated fibre
Define physical, chemical & mechanical properties of synthetic fibres,
Define production properties of microfibers,nano fibers & their advantages,
Employ the knowledge and foresight for today's & future fiber trends into the designs and collections.
