To define and emphasize the place of business in the economics and social life.
To explain businesses in terms of input, output, processes, environment, systems and subsystems.
To describe the interaction of business with the environment, to define systems, subsystems, open/closed systems.
To define main functions of business like marketing, finance, human resources, logistics, to contact them with business as the main system.
To introduce students the basic business literature.
To define business as the main component of economic life and with the environmental actors.
To describe business with all stakeholders.
To prepare the students to future lessons (marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, logistics, behavioral sciences), to explain the importance
Classify and compare different types of business.
To gain critical perspective about businesses.
