1. Learning about Regional Development Agencies and their functions. Understanding the importance of planning in view of the regional development.
2. Understanding the importance and contents of Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term planning approaces.
3. Learning the spatial planning relation between GIS and understanding the utilization geographical elements within GIS.
4. Introduction the functional elements of GIS and understanding their functions.
5. Utilization of GIS in making the necessary calculations for spatial planning.
6. Learning the planning types and their applications.
7. Understanding the various types of plans for city planning.
9. Understanding the necessary studies for spatial plans and site selctions.
10. Learning the procedure steps for infrustructure planning approaches.
