Students will learn to; • Use a charge model to explain basic electric phenomena
• Use Coulomb’s law to calculate the electric force between charges.
• Calculate the electric field due to single and multiple point charges.
• Calculate and use electric potential and electric potential energy.
• Calculate the electric flux through a surface and apply The Gauss’s Law.
• Understand how and why charge moves through a conductor as what we call a current.
• Understand and use capacitors and dielectrics.
