 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  The general definition of computer and its history.
2. Week  Basic information about the equipment that will be used apart from computer (microphone, midi keyboard, speaker).
3. Week  The classification of music software, general characteristics of the software.
4. Week  Introduction to musical notation (Finale 2012), learning the general structure of the program, the main tool palette, note entry pallete, articulation
5. Week  Monophonic melody writing, marking the nuance, return, articulation of the melody.
6. Week  Writing polyphonic melodies in single stuff.
7. Week  Writing polyphonic melodies in multi stuffs.
8. Week  Converting the written musical sheet to Mp3 format, convert to picture image output, pasting in Word software..
9. Week  Midterm exam.
10. Week  Scanning the existing musical sheet with scanner and transfering to computer notation.
11. Week  Using modifier marks and rhytms of Traditional Turkish Arts and folk music melodies.
12. Week  Preparing course material, and preparing exam papers includes both text and notation with Finale software
