Learning of the fundemental mathematical concepts and applications in chemistry

 --WEEKLY SCHEDULE
1. Week  Introduction, international system of units (SI), significant figures. Scalar and vector quantities.
2. Week  Dimensional analysis, reliability of measurements, uncertainties and deviations in measurements, mean and mean deviation, standard deviation
3. Week  Graphical representation, properties of line graph, least squares method, correlation coefficient, interpolation and extrapolation
4. Week  Differential calculus, limit calculus, differentiating of simple functions, implicit differentiation, logarithm and exponential functions
5. Week  Stationary points, local maximum and minimum points, point of inflection, series, the evaluation of limit by L’Hopital’s rule
6. Week  Multidimensional and partial differentiations
7. Week  Total and partial differentiations and their relations
8. Week  Mid-term exam
9. Week  Integration, standard methods of integration, simple functions
10. Week  Integration by parts, integration with partial fractions, method of conversion to algebraic functions
