At the end of this course, students should learn caries, its history, development theories and the factors that effect the caries development
Students should learn the effects of saliva, nutrition and biofilm an caries development
Students should learn the remineralization of caries
Students should learn the vital pulp treatments.
Students shouls learn sufficient theoretical knowledge about patient education and communication
Students shouls learn sufficient theoretical knowledge about diagnosis and treatment ın restorative dentistry

1Must have the necessary information about the normal structures of mouth and tooth and surrounding tissues, and their functions.X

4Must use all kinds of tools and technologies required by the profession of dentistry for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.X
5Must know the sufficient information about the supplies used in dental clinics and systemic effects of drugs.X
6Must have effective communication based on mutual understanding, trust and respect with patient, family, colleagues and people working in the environment.X
7Must comment the concepts and principles of the art of medicine, ethics and ethical problems.X
8Must apply the protective measures for the prevention of certain diseases such as dental caries, periodontal disease.X
9Must repair loss of the function, phonation, aesthetics and occlusion occurs depending on caries, periodontal disease, tooth loss and all kinds of traumas with prosthetic restorations.
10Must restore the losses of substances which occur in teeth and tooth deformities based on tooth decay, trauma or other reasons.X
11Must know and treat the diseases formed in the gums and jaw bone, cause of periodontal problems.
