Learns behavior guidance techniques for the child patient who comes to the clinic.
Takes anamnesis from the child patient, makes an extraoral, intraoral examination and evaluate the treatment.
Learns radiography techniques in pediatric patients. Learns to evaluate radiographs taken from children.
Learns to apply rubber-dam in a child patient.
Knows the behaviors that may damage the teeth structure.
Learn the properties of healthy primary and permanent dentition and make space maintainers for loss of space.
Learns local anesthesia techniques and new developments in children.
Have knowledge about sedation and general anesthesia in children.
To learn emergency treatment and referral to dental specialist in children.
To have knowledge about the promotion of root development in immature permanent teeth.
