 --COURSE CONTENT
1. Week  The aim of the Ataturk Principles and Revolution History, the main issues of the History of Turkish Revolution.
2. Week  The decline of the Ottoman Empire (internal and external factors).
3. Week  Ottoman Empire on 19th Century, Reforms of Sultan Selim III, Sultan Mahmud II, The periods of reforms Tanzimat, Islahat, Mesrutiyet I and Mesrutiyet
4. Week  Though systems on decline period of Ottoman Empire-Panislamizm,Ottomanism, Turkish Natioalism).
5. Week  Economic and military progress of Ottoman Empire before World War I ( setting up İttihat Terakki, Trablusgarp and the Balkan Wars).
6. Week  World War I, The Decline of Ottoman Empire, partition plans on Empire during the World War I.
7. Week  The situation of Ottoman Empire after Mondros Armistice, activities of minorities, destuructive communities. MIDTERM EXAM
8. Week  Cabinets of Ottoman Empire after Mondros Armistice and national communities.
9. Week  Occupation of İzmir and the resisdance to occupaiton, the beginning of the new period and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
10. Week  The activities in Anatolia against occupation.
11. Week  Main issues (inner and temporal) of National warfare, establishment of national assembly and their activities
12. Week  Military and politic progress after National Assembly, inner rebellions
13. Week  Peace Summit in Paris, Conference of London, Conference of San remo, The Treaty of Sèvres, and the new projects of allied Powers after Mondros Armist

1Must have the necessary information about the normal structures of mouth and tooth and surrounding tissues, and their functions.
2Must know the oral diseases’ causes and occurrence mechanism. Can identifiy the changes in mouth and on teeth caused by diseases.
3Can coment on the clinical and radiological finding belongs to the diseases and if necessary can synthesize them with laboratory and pathological findings.
4Must use all kinds of tools and technologies required by the profession of dentistry for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
5Must know the sufficient information about the supplies used in dental clinics and systemic effects of drugs.
6Must have effective communication based on mutual understanding, trust and respect with patient, family, colleagues and people working in the environment.
7Must comment the concepts and principles of the art of medicine, ethics and ethical problems.
8Must apply the protective measures for the prevention of certain diseases such as dental caries, periodontal disease.
9Must repair loss of the function, phonation, aesthetics and occlusion occurs depending on caries, periodontal disease, tooth loss and all kinds of traumas with prosthetic restorations.
10Must restore the losses of substances which occur in teeth and tooth deformities based on tooth decay, trauma or other reasons.
11Must know and treat the diseases formed in the gums and jaw bone, cause of periodontal problems.
12Must provides the basic information to all members of society, ın order to protect and improve the health of the mouth and teeth.
13Must cure the tooth pulp and the tissues diseases surrounding the root.
14Must take the measures necessary for the protection for themselves and health personnel work together, against occupational diseases.
15In case of complex and requires immediate intervention, can direct the patients first by evaluating treatment options necessary for a more comprehensive treatment centers.
16Must take the necessary precautions knows sterilization, to avoid the risk of transmitting infection for patients and individuals to work together.
17Must follows the necessary expert guides for mouth, teeth and jaw development during the adolescence periods.
18Must know the clinical and radiological information about mouth, teeth and gums and in the formation of suspicious lesions. Can lead the patient to the experts.
19Must knows the symptoms of systemic and infectious diseases, on oral structures such as mouth, teeth and gums. Can lead the patient to the experts.
20Must know information about the effects on other parts of the body of dental and oral diseases, when they becomes the possible source of focal infection.
