Department of English Language Teaching,which was founded in 1944,trained more than 4000 teachers so far.Students studying in the Department of English Language Teaching,MA Program are given four semesters to complete their studies,including the submission of a master''s thesis.They can prolong it to a maximum of two more semesters.The current number of registered students in the program is about 75. The number of students accepted to the MA program varies between 15 and 30. As of the 2019-2020 academic year,the faculty of the department comprises of six professors,six associate professors,one assistant professor,one lecturer, and eleven research assistants.
