Programme Information
Our department was officially established on October 17th, 2012 within the Polatlı Faculty of Arts and Sciences by the Council of Ministers. Its staff currently consists of 4 assistant professors and 2 research assistants. The period of study in our department is 4 years, and the language of instruction is Turkish. The courses are maintained on the basis of semesters. Alongside compulsory courses, there are selective courses that are oriented toward the interests and abilities of students. Graduates, upon taking some tests, can be/are accepted for MA / Ph.D. programs in Pre-historic Period, Medieval History, Modern History, History of Modern Turkey and General Turkish History.
