Profile of the Programme
Media Design Master Programme was established under Media Design Department of Gazi University Institute of Fine Arts in 2015. The programme aims to inform its students by synthesizing communication and information channels with new trends in film studies. In order to complete the programme students must create an artwork in a field of their choosing and/or write a paper analyzing the theoretical frame of the artwork they created. Media Design Master Programme aims to provide an interdisciplinary approach to the art of cinema, which is the founding element of visual arts, contemporary art and pioneering elements of mass communication, new media, video art and artists in the context of formal, contextual and historical contexts. An entrance exam of Master''''s Degree must be passed successfully before starting the programme which lasts for four terms.
