Profile of the Programme
The normal time span of master with thesis is 4 semesters and can be extended to 6 terms which starts in the semester in which the courses are begun to given, regardless of registered or not, and preparation year is not included in this duration. Master Program with thesis is fromed of minimum 120 ECTS consisting of 9 courses, inclueded scientific research tecqniques and publication ethics, and a seminar, of which total 24 credits and 60 ECTS and the rest of it thesis preparation, lecture on specialized field and the thesis. Seminar and thesis are non-credited courses and evaluated only as successful or unseccessful. ECTS value of these courses is determined by the proposal of the department and the approval of the Institute. Students who cannot finish their courses successfully in 4 terms or cannot meet the minimum requirements that the University states; or those who cannot complet their thesis or not to participate in the jury in the maximum number of terms are dismissed from the Institue and their affiliation with the Institude is terminated.
