Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of previous education in Higher Education Institutions and the requests of horizontal, vertical or within –university transfers are handled according to the Council of Higher Education’s (YÖK) “Regulations on the Principles of transfers between Graduate level programs, double major, minor and credit transfers between institutions in Higher Education Institutions”. Student requests of credit or grade transfer from their previous education are evaluated and decided by the Department’s Academic Council and the Faculty Executive Board.
