Electrical and Electronic Engineers are individuals who are capable of designing, implementing and improving the electrical and electronic systems and their components, solving their operational problems, following the new developments in the area of Electrical and Electronic Engineering area, and using their knowledge and experience for the benefit of the society. The mission of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is to provide its students with an undergraduate program that can guide them to gain these qualities, and prepare them for the professional engineering life and graduate studies.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The undergraduate program of Gazi University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering has been structured to gain its graduates a strong background with which they can adapt the fast changing work environments in the globalizing world and establish a successful career. The educational objective of the program is to graduate students who have the necessary skills to work alone and in groups to perform in the following activities:

1. Working in R-D, production, education, quality control, project planning, technical marketing departments of leading private or state organizations of Turkey, and to advance in time to become leaders or managers in these organizations by using the knowledge and skills they acquired.
2. Adapting and improving themselves by engaging in graduate study or self-study or life-learning activities such as short courses, workshops and distance learning courses.
3. Engaging in entrepreneurship activities by themselves or in partnership with other.
