Profile of the Programme
In 1995, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Gazi Faculty of Education opened the Department of German Language Teaching, where a Professor, two Associate Professors, two Assistant Professors, a Teaching Assistant Doctor, a Lecturer Doctor and two Research Assistantsserves. The aim of the education department of german language teaching, where about 270 students are educated, is to train and teach students in german linguistics, german literature and language teaching subjects so that they can teach the german language at primary and secondary school. Before starting the four-years undergraduate program, the one-year prepclass has to be succesful completed. Who have successfully completed the preparatory class or the exemption exam for the first class, can start the undergraduate first class.
