Discuss the various factors that contribute to the vessel tonus
Explain the relationship between flow, pressure and resistance
Explain how hemodynamics in blood vessels deviates from theory due to viscosity, distensibility and axial streaming
Explain the difference between laminar and turbulent flow
Explain the structure and function of the various types of capillaries in the organs of the body
Explain how the cardiac output is distributed to the tissues
Explain the relationship between cardiac output and systemic vascular resistance and blood pressure
Explain the function and components of blood pressure control system
Explain the function of the lymphatic circulation
