To provide an information graduate students in basic and applied areas of the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites.
To have an information about the biosynthetic pathways of secondary metabolites.
To have an information about the research methods of biosynthesis.
To have a sufficient information about the definitions of biogenesis and biosynthesis alongwith the pathways of bioactive compounds in bioresources.

1. Week  General information about natural product chemistry and secondary metabolites, determination of bioactive compounds
2. Week  Definition of biogenesis,biosynthesis,primary, secondary metabolites, metabolism and the importance of biosynthesis
3. Week  Chemistry and usages of metabolites, microbial metabolites and their importance in biotechnology
4. Week  Research methods of biosynthesis Primary and secondary metabolisms and metabolic pathways
5. Week  Description and classification of enzymatic reactions General information about primary, secondary metabolisms and secondary metabolites
6. Week  Degradation of glucose, glcolysis, pentose-phosphate way,Entner-Doudoroff
7. Week  Biosynthesis pathways of secondary metabolites, pathways of mevalonic, malonic and shikimic acids, Biosynthesis diagrams of secondary metabolites
8. Week  Biosynthesis of carbohydrates
9. Week  Biosynthesis of amino acids and nitrogen-containing compounds
10. Week  Biosynthesis of isoprenoids and steroids
11. Week  Biosynthesis of phenolic compounds and flavonoids
12. Week  Biosynthesis of nitrogen-containing compounds(Amino acids, amines, alkaloids, peptides, proteins, pteridins, porphyrines and nucleic acids)
13. Week  Biosynthesis of secondary metabolites in plant cell cultures, biochemical and molecular conversions in the biosynthesis
