To know DNA and chromosomes as the geentic material of the organism
To be able to decide which tests can be used for likely genotoxicity investigation of chemical and physical substance exposure.
To be able to handle cell culture procedures and biological sampling to carry out genotoxicity tests.
To be able to practise the genotoxicity tests
To gain competence in the practice of genotoxicity tests which are in use from regulations to the biomonitoring studies

1. Week  Description of genotoxicity and DNA damage types
2. Week  In vivo, in vitro experimental conditions and cell culture medium preparation
3. Week  Cell types used in genotoxicity testing
4. Week  Image analysis and evaluation methods of microlesions and macrolesions
5. Week  Chromosome structure and chromosome isolation
6. Week  Numerical and structural khromosomal aberrations
7. Week  Chromosomal aberration and sister chromatid exchange assays

9. Week  Comet assay (Single cell gel electrophoresis technique) I-Practice

11. Week  Practice and evaluation of micronucleus assay in theperipheral blood lymphocytes
