Be able to explain the basic fundamental principles of MS, IR, NMR spectrometry.
Be able to combine spectroscopic data obtain from different techniques with respect to determining the structure of a organic compound.
Be able to report spectral data in a scientific report.

2. Week   Analysis of first-order spin systems (examples, answers)
3. Week   Analysis of Mass, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C/DEPT spectrums of 3-butyn-1-ol
4. Week  Analysis of Mass, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C/DEPT, COSY, HMQC spectrums of ethyl sorbat
5. Week  Analysis of Mass, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C/DEPT, COSY, HMQC, HMBC spectrums of thymol
6. Week  Structure elucidation of compounds by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Mass spectrums (Problems 1-10)
